PREPARE with Training

We help aspiring young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 29 learn how to build a business using modern methods and technology.

Launch with mentoring

We provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to help our entrepreneurs create the right products and services and get customers.

Grow with funding

To help our entrepreneurs grow, we provide startup grants up to $2,500 and access to investment, loans, new customers and opportunities.

Oakland's Emerging 100 is collaborative initiative to prepare, launch and grow 100+ young entrepreneurs each year. We are creating a pathway to business ownership for underrepresented entrepreneurs in Oakland.

Our entrepreneurs, ages 18 to 29, come to us with a variety of business ideas - from food businesses to clothing & apparel to a wide range of service businesses such as auto body repair, massage, tutoring, consulting, college admissions, styling, and more. We help you build your business idea using modern methodologies and easy-to-use technology, so that you can start making money to sustain your business and your passion.

CircleUp Education

Tyrone and Tiffany are the co-founders of CircleUp Education, a social enterprise that cultivates thriving and equitable communities. They offer training, coaching and consulting services in Diversity & Social Equity, Restorative Practices and Professional Development.
